TH7 Progression Plan

Practical, offense-first guidance

The objective at this level

Open the Dark Elixir lane without letting the King consume every builder

Town Hall 7 creates a second resource lane through the Dark Elixir Drill, Storage, Dark Barracks, Barbarian King, Minion, and Hog Rider. It also adds Dragon, Rage Spell, Hidden Tesla, and Seeking Air Mine. The strategic change is not simply having more upgrades; it is learning to keep Dark Elixir work moving while builders still improve the army, storage, and defenses that earn the next batch of resources.

Written by Patrick Nguyen. Reviewed against ClashVault dataset v1.2.0. This sequence is a flexible default: keep upgrades that improve your regular army ahead of optional defensive polish.

Priority 1

Laboratory, Army Camps, and Clan Castle

Capacity, research, and reinforcements improve every farming and war attack. Start those long-running systems before assigning multiple builders to defensive levels.

Priority 2

Dark Elixir Storage, Drill, and Barbarian King

Place the Dark Elixir economy early, but match King upgrades to the income you can sustain. An idle King altar waiting for resources does not justify delaying the main army pipeline.

Priority 3

Dragon or Hog Rider army path

Choose one reliable army and research its supporting troops and spells first. Splitting Laboratory time across every new unlock leaves all of them underpowered.

Suggested builder sequence

  1. Upgrade the Laboratory, Army Camps, and Clan Castle while raising the storage capacity required by those purchases.
  2. Place Dark Elixir Storage and Drill, build the Dark Barracks, and unlock the Barbarian King without spending gems to force the resource pace.
  3. Choose either a Dragon-Rage or Hog-based development path and keep the Laboratory on that plan.
  4. Add Hidden Tesla and Seeking Air Mine coverage, then strengthen Air Defense and splash defenses around the core.
  5. Finish remaining defense, traps, collectors, and walls while the King and Laboratory continue on separate resource lanes.

Ready to advance when

  • One complete TH7 army has current troop and spell research instead of several half-built options.
  • The Barbarian King is progressing at a pace the account's Dark Elixir income can maintain.
  • Laboratory, Army Camps, Clan Castle, Spell Factory, and Barracks are at their intended TH7 ceilings.
  • Hidden Tesla and Seeking Air Mine placement supports the layout instead of revealing an obvious isolated pocket.

Data Methodology

Dataset v1.2.0

What these levels mean

Each number is the highest level that entity can reach while your Home Village is Town Hall 7. It is a reference ceiling, not an upgrade-priority ranking or a snapshot of one player’s base.

How we maintain the dataset

ClashVault maps entity IDs from real player exports, then checks level caps against update notes, in-game observations, and established community references. The current dataset was reviewed on .
