TH15 Progression Plan

Practical, offense-first guidance

The objective at this level

Choose defensive modes and attack roles instead of collecting every new option

Town Hall 15 adds Monolith and Spell Tower, expands the pet roster, and opens major attack options such as Root Rider, Battle Drill, Dragon Duke access, and Angry Spell through Dark Spell Factory level 8. Angry Spell can redirect affected troops toward defenses, which makes it a pathing tool rather than an automatic replacement for the spells a practiced army already needs. Complete one army, assign every hero and pet a role, and test the spell against a defined entry before funding broader options.

Written by Patrick Nguyen. Reviewed against ClashVault dataset v1.2.0. This sequence is a flexible default: keep upgrades that improve your regular army ahead of optional defensive polish.

Priority 1

One complete army with assigned heroes and pets

Root Rider, Battle Drill, newer pets, and an additional hero option create many partial combinations. One researched and practiced plan is more useful than several unfinished experiments.

Priority 2

Spell Tower mode and Monolith purpose

These defenses are strongest when their placement and mode reinforce expected pathing. Configure them as part of the layout instead of copying a setting without its surrounding structure.

Priority 3

Dark Spell Factory 8 and an Angry Spell test plan

Unlock Angry Spell, then compare its forced defense targeting with the funnel, control, or damage spell it would replace. Upgrade it because a tested army benefits, not simply because it is new.

Suggested builder sequence

  1. Upgrade Laboratory, Camps, Clan Castle, storage, and Dark Spell Factory to level 8 when Angry Spell has a defined role in the chosen TH15 army.
  2. Select the active hero roster and pet assignments, then schedule upgrades around the heroes that army needs for farming and war.
  3. Research the primary troops, spells, and siege before investing broadly in Root Rider, newer pets, or alternate hero combinations.
  4. Build Monolith and Spell Towers, choose modes from expected attack paths, and test whether their coverage supports the layout's traps and compartments.
  5. Finish secondary armies, remaining hero and pet levels, defenses, collectors, traps, and walls after the first plan is complete.

Ready to advance when

  • The primary army names its active heroes, pet pairings, siege, spells, and intended entry.
  • If Angry Spell is included, its deployment zone and the spell it replaces have both been tested against the army's intended path.
  • Each Spell Tower mode has a layout-specific purpose and is reconsidered after major base changes.
  • The Monolith covers a high-value path without joining every important defense in one compact target area.
  • Hero, pet, Laboratory, and builder queues follow a resource plan that keeps at least one effective army available.

Data Methodology

Dataset v1.2.0

What these levels mean

Each number is the highest level that entity can reach while your Home Village is Town Hall 15. It is a reference ceiling, not an upgrade-priority ranking or a snapshot of one player’s base.

How we maintain the dataset

ClashVault maps entity IDs from real player exports, then checks level caps against update notes, in-game observations, and established community references. The current dataset was reviewed on .

Sources and corrections

Review the official June 2026 update notes, Clash of Clans Wiki, and Clash Ninja. If a live update changed a value, please send us a correction.
