TH1 Progression Plan

Practical, offense-first guidance

The objective at this level

Learn the village loop without spending your gem reserve

Town Hall 1 is a short onboarding stage. Its value is learning how collectors, storages, troop training, army capacity, and basic defense fit together. Build each available system, run a few attacks, and move forward once the loop makes sense; there is no strategic benefit in stretching this level out.

Written by Patrick Nguyen. Reviewed against ClashVault dataset v1.2.0. This sequence is a flexible default: keep upgrades that improve your regular army ahead of optional defensive polish.

Priority 1

Army Camp

Housing space affects every attack, so establish your full TH1 army capacity before treating the Cannon or collectors as the main project.

Priority 2

Barracks and basic troops

Use Barbarians, Archers, and Giants long enough to see the difference between damage, range, and tanking instead of training one unit blindly.

Priority 3

Storages and collectors

Keep Gold and Elixir capacity ahead of the next purchase so progress is never blocked by a storage ceiling.

Suggested builder sequence

  1. Finish the tutorial placements and collect the resources already available in the village.
  2. Build the Barracks and Army Camp, then fill the camp before starting an attack.
  3. Bring Gold and Elixir storage high enough to pay for every remaining TH1 upgrade.
  4. Finish the Cannon and economy buildings while practicing a few low-risk raids.
  5. Keep gems instead of using them on short timers; they are more valuable toward permanent builders later.

Ready to advance when

  • Every TH1 building shown in the max-level ledger is placed.
  • The Army Camp and both storages have reached their TH1 ceiling.
  • You can deploy a complete army without leaving unused housing space.
  • Your starting gem reserve has not been drained on timer skips.

Data Methodology

Dataset v1.2.0

What these levels mean

Each number is the highest level that entity can reach while your Home Village is Town Hall 1. It is a reference ceiling, not an upgrade-priority ranking or a snapshot of one player’s base.

How we maintain the dataset

ClashVault maps entity IDs from real player exports, then checks level caps against update notes, in-game observations, and established community references. The current dataset was reviewed on .
