Hero Equipment: The Blacksmith Revolution

Introduced in the Town Hall 16 update, the Hero Equipment system allows players to customize their Heroes' active abilities and passive stats, replacing the standard default abilities.

The Blacksmith & Ore Economy

Hero Equipment is unlocked and upgraded at the Blacksmith building. Upgrading requires three tiers of custom in-game Ores, collected from Daily Star Bonuses and Clan War victories:

  1. Shiny Ore (Common): Used for all equipment levels.
  2. Glowy Ore (Rare): Used for milestone levels (multiples of 3).
  3. Starry Ore (Epic): Used strictly for upgrading Epic-tier equipment.

Core Epic Equipment Priority

  • Giant Gauntlet (Barbarian King): Widely considered the best equipment in the game. It makes the King grow in size, giving him area-of-effect damage and massive damage reduction.
  • Frozen Arrow (Archer Queen): Slows down target defenses and boosts the Queen's DPS.
  • Fireball (Grand Warden): Deals a massive, war-deciding area-of-effect blast to delete core defense compartments instantly.
