The Barbarian King: Core Ground Tank

The Barbarian King is the first Hero unlocked at Town Hall 7. Boasting the highest health pool of any unit in the game, his main role is to absorb damage for squishier troops like Wizards, Witches, and Bowlers, or to create wide funnels on the outer edges of a base.

Core Ability: Iron Fist

When activated, his ability restores a chunk of health, grants a temporary damage and speed boost, and spawns a small army of angry Barbarians to swarm surrounding targets. This ability is highly optimized when paired with active Hero Equipment.

Tactical Equipment Pairings

• Giant Gauntlet + Rage Vial: The absolute competitive gold standard. Gives him area-of-effect splash damage while reducing incoming damage by up to 60%, allowing him to slice through core base clusters in seconds.
• Vampstache + Earthquake Boots: Ideal for outer funneling. The Vampstache heals him with every strike, letting him walk the entire perimeter of a base without dying, while the boots easily breach thick wall pockets.
